Also, Night Mechanic has been recording their debut CD at Jackpot Recording Studio here in Portland Oregon. Their CD should be available this winter and for purchase here at giftshoprecords.com.

Night Mechanic has a show coming up this sunday (10-14-2007) at Slabtown in Portland Oregon.  The Wilamette Week had this to say about the show…

Gift Shop Records is happening more and more each day.  We have received the first pressing of “Plastic Rings” by The Caps.  It’s looking good and should soon be available for sale here at giftshoprecords.com.  In other news, the Portland, OR based band Night Mechanic will soon be recording a full length record for Gift Shop Records.  This one promises to be a good one with jumpy beats and catchy staccato rhythms.  Check out their myspace page (www.myspace.com/nightmechanic) for some mighty fine ear candy.   Even more to come.
