Gift Shop Records

We just recieved the latest Gift Shop Release “Mild Stallions - Pocket E.P.”.  It will be available very soon for purchase so keep checking back.  In the meantime, get your fill of Mild Stallions on their Myspace Page. The Packaging came out great and we couldn’t be happier.  The Mild Stallions also recently played a show with Dameon Lee (of Scared of Chaka and Lowlights fame) at East End in Portland, OR.  This marked the first Mild Stallions show with a full band featuring; Chris Worth and Brian Lelko switching out Key and Bass duities and Wiley Hickson on drums and of couse James and Amy doing their usual parts.  The show went well and was a good time (had by all, hopefully).

I recently posted a video of The Daffodils playing their song “Summer Eyes”. This song will eventually be released on Gift Shop Records but we are still deciding when and where it will be released. But for now, enjoy. Also, the new Daffodils Album “Gulls and Buoys” will be released sometime this spring or summer. Keep a lookout because it will be a “Must Have” for your music collection.

In other news… If you are in Portland there is a secret show tomorrow night (March 20th) at 8pm at The Know with “The Daffodils“. This is going to be great because the Daffodils are great and they don’t play very often. Gift Shop Records will be re-releasing The Daffodils’ first CD “Renee and Eugene” as well as the new Daffodils Album “Gulls and Buoys”. This is gonna be a good one.

I just put up a new video of Night Mechanic playing at Mississippi Studios in Portland Oregon. The song is called “White Rash”. Enjoy. And keep a look out for the new Full Length coming out soon.

Night Mechanic has a show coming up this sunday (10-14-2007) at Slabtown in Portland Oregon.  The Wilamette Week had this to say about the show…

The Caps are having a EP/CD Release show at the towne lounge in portland oregon.  Days and Soft Tags will both be playing as well, so this promises to be a good show.  The band also has some fun new pictures that should be available to look at very soon.
