Night Mechanic

NIGHT MECHANIC BIO: CHRIS VALLERGA: Once a prolific bare knuckle boxer in the Yukon area of Alaska, after a series of failed love affairs with married women, Chris found himself in Seminary school in a small village along the Pacific coastline of Mexico. He was supposed guilty of stealing from the poor box – an accusation that was never proven. However, with the scandal that ensued, Chris returned to his fighting days and knocked out the head master of the school – an action that quickly got him expelled from not only the school, but also the entire religion of Christianity. To soothe and save his soul, Chris picked up the guitar. ERICA ROYBAL: Ms. Roybal was once an Olympic hopeful in the world of gymnastics. After crashing her motorcycle along route 66, two titanium replacement feet were implanted into her – thus ending her promising career. Having stronger feet than her fiancé – the future heir of the Tabasco Empire – proved to be too emasculating for the young man…the wedding was off. With hopes of the gold, luxury, and even the back-up plan of being a tumbler in the circus, Erica had to pick up something. Unfortunately, she picked up arson as a hobby. Part of her rehab was plucking the guitar. ANDRE “DALLAS” COBERLY: The son of a high-powered corporate attorney from New England, Andre lived a life a privilege, and bumped elbows with society’s upper crust. However, Andre also had a bad habit of betting on the wrong animal in animal fights. There is legend of him betting $10,000 on a pair of chimpanzees with pointed sticks versus a lion – the lion made quick work of the monkeys, sticks and all. His mother – the high-powered attorney – then made quick work of throwing Andre, and his potential inheritance, out of the family. In A.A., Andre learned that he could quiet his demons by keeping a steady beat with pencils. SANJAY: A bit of an enigma, not much is known of the history for the one called Sanjay. In the merchant marines the crew threw Sanjay overboard in a unanimous decision. Adrift in the Pacific for four days, Sanjay finally made it to shore on a small island inhabited by nothing but parrots and other inconsequential wildlife. It was with the parrots that Sanjay grew a bond – which was actually just Sanjay speaking and the birds repeating. However, Sanjay thought himself their leader after a while – and after a knife fight with the one parrot that was actually the other birds’ alpha. A cruise ship rescued Sanjay a few days later. While on the ship’s infirmary – being treated for severe dehydration and a psychotic breakdown – Sanjay found solace in playing bass with the ship’s band.
