The Caps first E.P. (and also the first release from Gift Shop) is off to the presses and should be back in a week. This 4 song romp around pop extravaganza will soon be available through several avenues including Local record shops (Here in Portland, OR) and for sale over the interwebs (for non-Portlanders). It’s pretty Exciting. I’m Excited. And it sounds good too.
Just some news of upcoming releases. The newest installment of The Daffodils will be released on Gift Shop Records. The Daffodils is the brain child of Caps bassist James Reisen. His music is beautiful, soulful, and hard to ingnore. The recording for this mostly took place in Lelkoland, (Brian Lelko’s 4 track basement studio). Matched with James’ songs, Brian helps create a big sound. I can’t stop listening and am very excited about this release. Look for this release in the late summer, early fall of 2007.
